Advocacy For All
Join Kristen Halbert and Housing Forward-MA for a two-part virtual training free and open to all. This introduction to advocacy will cover how local and state governments operate to pass legislation and the role that community members can play to influence policymakers' decisions. The second part of this training will introduce prospective activists to ways they can become involved in state and local governments to advocate for issues of their choice. You only need to sign up for one session even if you plan on attending both.
The two sessions will be:
Legislating for Laypeople (Tues. 11/17, 3-4 PM)
Amplify Your Advocacy (Wed. 11/18, 5:30-6:30 PM)
Housing Forward-MA is a nonprofit research and education organization focused on developing and disseminating accurate data related to housing creation in Massachusetts and the broader economic impacts of housing supply and demand.
